Thirteen Random Things about “The Bunch”1. Ages: 12, almost 9, 8 and 2……. oh and 6 (thedaughter)

2.  Hair colos: brown, blonde, auburn, and red

3.  Glasses: TheTomboy

4.  Need braces:  The Eldest and TheTomboy (can someone loan us some money :)

5.  Thedaughter is indian/eskimo (beautiful dark skinned girl, from what I could tell from the one picture we saw of her)

6.  TheDiva and TheEldest are very picky eaters due to their mother.  She mainly does pizza hot dogs so fixing dinner is a challenge with us sometimes.

7.  Queenie will do anything now as long as she can have a chocolate pudding (I know bad momma :)

8.  They would love for me to be able to stay home with them, I think TheEldest even mentioned homeschooling and and TheTomboy agreed (whoa I’m not sure I’m qualified for that )

9.  Unfortunately we aren’t financially able to do this.

10.  They get along really well.  We have some issues every now and then but overall they get along great.

11.  I am with them most of the time due to DH being at work all the time.

12.  TheTomboy has a wonderful relationship with her father.

13.  I miss them terribly when their gone.

Thirteen random things about me and my family.

  1. I have 4 wonderful kids 1 boy and 3 girls.
  2. Yes two of them are my step children but never the less they are my children as well.
  3. My husband is a grump but I love him and overlook his grumpiness because he works 7 days a week 3 different shifts.
  4. My oldest daughter TheTomboy saved me from that wrong path in life.
  5. My husband and I will have our three year anniversary on 7/17. 
  6. this is a random one :)   I’m almost 6 foot tall
  7. TheTomboy is as tall as TheEldest even though she’s almost 9 and he’s 12.
  8. I love the summer because we have all the kids together every other week.
  9. I have a job interview today and am very nervous.  No one at my office knows I have a job interview today, they just think I have an appointment.
  10. TheGrump called and said he was going to put up the Banzai Waterslide for the kids when we got home today.
  11. Woo hoo tons of fun will be had on the waterslide, I may even take a slide down it.
  12. Queenie got in the big pool this weekend and got over her fear.
  13. I want a pool for our house now, got to convince TheGrump now.

Thirteen things I enjoyed at the beach.

  1. Relaxing on the beach of course
  2. Going to the water parks and amusement park for free :)
  3. Seeing an attempt at making the worlds biggest sandcastle.
  4. Funnel Cakes – need I say more
  5. The aquarium – seeing the sharks and other fish.
  6. watching the kids go crazy at the aquarium
  7. touching a sting ray – they’re slimy feeling.
  8. Getting to go to the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum – it rocked
  9. I definitely enjoyed saving up some of our tax money to spend while we were there.
  10. getting to go with another family.
  11. riding the sling-shot at Family Kingdom and finally getting over my fear of it.
  12. Not riding that damn Ferris wheel
  13. Just spending some time with my family and seeing my husband have a day off (he works 7 days a week)

Thirteen random things you never knew about mominprogress

  1.  I'm a natural Blonde, but am a brunette at the moment
  2. I have a love/hate relationship with my job.
  3. I'd love to be able to go back to school to become an RN
  4. I moved out on my own when I was 17 years old.
  5. My mother and I don't have a very good relationship.
  6. I took the "wrong path" in my life but when I got pregnant with my oldest daughter she turned my life around.
  7. My first car was a VW Quantum.
  8. I love classic rock, alternative rock and hard rock.
  9. My kids hate my taste in music.
  10. Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough.
  11. I've been married before.
  12. I didn't have any children with my ex-husband.
  13. I still have a bestfriend that I've known since kindergarten.

THIRTEEN THINGS I am looking forward to in the next 2 weeks!

1…. VACATION!!!!!!

2. . Going to the beach and walking on the sand.

3.  Spending time with the kids.

4.  Spending time with TheGrump.

5.  Being away from work.

6.  Did I say VACATION!!! :)

7. Spending time with my best friend and her family that is going to the beach with us.

8.  Seeing the big kids have a great time.

9.  The step kids being away from their crazy mother and actually relaxing.

10.  Spending an entire 8 days together as a family.

11.  BEING AWAY FROM MY JOB (oh I said that already…..)

12.  Not having to deal with clients

13.  Taking a road trip.
